Dyed Birch Veneer - Purple 

Description

Purple birch veneer sheets showcase the natural aesthetic of wood with a visible grain, while opening up a range of creative possibilities with their unique color. Purple birch veneers have a medium copper brown base with streaks of purple contrast. Sanding each sheet will level out the color and reveal a solid purple color and remove most of the brown color. 

Due to the dyeing process, each sheet is different. Expect panels to have varying concentrations of color.  Dyed through wood veneer sheets are made from FSC certified, sustainably sourced, white birch veneers. 

Dyed veneer sheets make up the base of laminated blanks. These sheets can be purchased individually so you can create your own color combination blanks. Dyed birch veneer blanks can be used in form pressed parts, interior design panels and furniture.

Purple dyed veneer sheets are made by dying very light colored birch veneers using an environmentally friendly process with no harmful substances. As each sheet is through dyed, the color penetrates the entire material thickness, ensuring long lasting color and enabling you to sand and finish without loss of color. Please use gloves while handling as residual dye can stain hands. 

Each sheet is unfinished and may have slight curling or bowing at the edges. We recommended flattening each sheet before fabrication.
